About Me
Native of Winston Salem where I currently reside. Graduated from Parkland High School in 1985. Attended NCCU in Durham, NC and a graduate of WSSU.with major in Management Information Systems. Worked for RJR Tobacco Company for 15 years. Currently a Senior Consultant for Deloitte LLC conducting Software implementation and business strategy development. Mother of two, son Charles 24 currently attending WSSU and daughter Jasmine 13 in WSFCS.
About My
Platform
As a unprivileged child growing up in a Domestic violent household, my outlet was education and community programs. I became involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) and had a Bog Sister that I admired from WSSU who showed me that attending college and bettering myself was possible. I later became a volunteer and board member for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triad, I understand first hand the importance of the work they do.
